In 2008, Market Research Company Synovate questioned 500 working parents about corporate changes leading to better opportunities to combine career and family. Their suggestions were the starting point for the Lof research for Best Employers for Working Parents in 2008 and 2009. The Loflist was based on the outcomes of this research. On the list are the organizations (alphabetically shown) that facilitate their employees best in terms of flexibility, leave, day care, work/life balance, policy, culture and extras. In 2009, 77 progressive employers participated in the Lof research.
